“Some years ago (early 90’s?) a certain track was released, as part of the Artificial Intelligence compilation from Warp. On that CD a track that defined electronic music for years to come, encouraging many to begin creating music (me included!) That track was ‘Release to the System’ and the artist? Mark Franklin. We have had exclusive permission from Mark to feature a track from his new EP, The Long Good Saturday, which is available for digital download at Beatport. Dub comes to Kahvi? well, in a way but this is something special.”
- beyond “solid and reliable beats. perhaps a hint of reggae there but still with elements of that ground breaking track held within. Not quite commercial but not quite idm underground either. A worthwhile addition to the collective? A piece of history ;)”
