OPEN #008 [Greenways8 - Lights out EP]
“We first met greenways8 at the netstockfest 2005. He was just back from his Italian holidays and he played the last set of the festival. His music was much appreciated. Today, 6 months later, we are proud to present his very first release: Lights Out EP.
All the instinctive moods of Greenways8 are tied together in each track of this beautiful ep and you can hear them all screaming out for their anxiety of freedom.
The EP starts with Lost, the grim silence of the nature before the storm. Asjifwx, the second track, will catch your attention from the very beginnig: an obsessive rhythm will sweetly bring you to an apotheosis of pads, strings, voices and sounds in a crescendo of deep feelings and emotions. With Atmosfearix Greenways8 explores his innermost fears and conveys them directly to the emotional sphere of the listener. The EP ends with Venezia, a souvenir of his journey in Italy: there is no better way of saying “arrivederci, I’ll be back soon”. And we will all wait for him.”
