“The new Kurzwellen micro-netlabel is dedicated to ambient, minimalism, field recordings, audio environments, sound design, and any kind of experimental audio recordings.

Our first release is a nice collection of ambient pieces from Pocka. Each piece is a section of ambient loops, with the idea of being pure ambience: something to listen to in the background, and best at low volumes. These tracks encourage repeat and shuffled listening situations.”

   Thanks for this release. it’s ambient music as I like it most: tranquil, quiet, timeless and beatless. The Buddha Machine connotations enhances the material greatly. I will surely play this quite a lot.
   It’s a shame I have not noticed this release when creating the buddha machine special for NPS dutch radio (broadcast next tuesday and webstream a week after that: see http://www.nps-folio.info )
