“Starting off what should be a busy year for SND, Unicide brings us his debut netlabel release. Having introduced himself earlier in the year with a podcast mix of some of his favourite tracks, he now demonstrates his own musical talents with the majestically titled Cupboard EP. With this release Unicide creates tense atmospheres with cerebral melodies, subtle ambience and slowly-evolving beats that twitch and fidget along to the elusive rhythms. The use of some classic sci-fi sampling adds only a faint human touch to Unicide’s immersive, synthetic sound world.”
