P #011 [die striche - schlafe ein]

Posted in Experimental by bleepwatcher

“The era of the worlds humanitarian-oriented order is dramatically closing to its end in front of our eyes. The question of reforming the views about further development of the living matter on our planet is to be discussed now. A time has come for a new society, which evolved to replace the old one. We are talking about socialization of the mind. About a new society, where the leading role is given not to the living being, which becomes just a production facility, but for the actual unit of the noosphere, the units of the thought. We resolutely deny the abstraction of the term ‘thought’. Now its not just a word, meaning the phenomenon unseen by man & acknowledged in being only by its material effects, but a complex concept meaning a new type of matter, & a living & reasonable matter, which holds the future of the very concept of our civilization. The concerts of the formation are held only in the presence of the musicians themselves, which symbolizes the integrity of the noosphere, hence the music played becomes a part of the WHOLE noosphere at once, wherever would it be performed, thus the participation of the listener in his flesh is derided as a vestige of the past. I see the art as a matter as the phenomenon of totalitarian nature where the watcher/the listener/the reader is not given votes able to change something”

[editor: hey, I just got home from my one social night out, and I see this release without the included mp3 links. PLEASE include them if they are available. I added them myself, DRUNK-- I'm sure you can figure out how to do it.]

NSI #012 [sascha müller - violet dreams]

Posted in Ambient, Electro, Techno by bleepwatcher

“Sascha Müller, also known as Pharmacom, hails from Uelsen, Germany. He participates actively in the netlabel movement, both as a musician and as a label-owner. Sascha Müller does not live merely by the code of the software synthesizer, but also uses a rich array of analog instruments and techniques in his recordings. His work crosses genre boundaries, from techno to ambient to electro and back again.

In Violet Dreams, Sascha travels in the hazy, violet electro-horizons, where the colors shimmer as the sun rises and sets. As with all equatorial border territories, the result is a rich melange of different styles and ways of doing things. The intersection of different netlabel cultures is a point of melding and melting, which takes place in the penumbra of song.

We live in a time of harsh divisions, when we all dream of violet fields in a land without borders.

Come join Sascha Müller for an exploration of the dream-power of sound to bridge the spaces between us.”

CMR #018 [ogge - porn ha ha]

Posted in Chiptune by bleepwatcher

“‘Porn Ha Ha,’ Ogge’s latest EP, is jampacked with bubbly synths and good tymes. This short EP is a return to the fun-filled music CMR was founded upon, and also perfectly exemplifies Ogges knack for capturing a unique mix of porn scores crossed with funky 80s-like theme songs (See ‘Porn Island.’)”

EKL #002 [dug - tokyo ep]

Posted in Live, Minimal, Techno by bleepwatcher

“With an emphasis on live performance, dug is heavily infuenced by the music produced by record labels such as tresor, basic channel and m-nus among others. Ekwals second release, a 3 track e.p. entitled the okyo e.p. is dugs first attempt to contain his frantic live style into a few tracks. The Tokyo e.p. develops from a laid back opener to a more intense delivery of minimal techno. Thanks to John McCaig at PanicStudios for his mastering skills!”

AA #012 [yinsh - songes maladifs d'outre monde]

Posted in IDM by bleepwatcher

“Fisrt album from Yinsh, ’songes maladifs d’outre monde’ was born from strange dreams and perturbing nights. When the spirit isn under control anymore, when it escapes from any logic, when its unconscious elements come up to the surface and explode by leaving rubble of unknown feelings, a dusty taste of old forgotten thoughts coming from another world and where only the attempt of an artistic interpretation prevents from sinking win the subsoils of these sick dreams.” [54 min 23 / 256kbps mp3]
