mdS-al #006 [tripper - selected works #1]

Posted in Drum & Bass, Electro, Glitch by bleepwatcher

“The only way to fight the madness around us and inside ourselves, is to bring positive vibes to our minds and consciousness. You can actually study cymatics to understand that water molecules form beautiful and complex geometrical crystal shapes when exposed to certain music and sound frequencies. And even our intentions, emotions, thoughts affect the crystals through a quantum-field. We are mostly water, so our thoughts, intentions will manifest instantly in our own bodies. Its not that far fetched idea if you think about it…

‘Selected Works 1′ is a Space Pop LP flavoured with styles from Clicks and Cuts, electro and drum and bass by our finnish member Ville Tripper Sarell. The track ‘TannhĂ€user Gate’ was produced for the demo ‘TannhĂ€user Gate’ by Cubicle: Have a click at cubicle.fi! moodsplateau.net — where passion beats — since 1999 “

COD #061007B [cooler - live at cod estek]

Posted in Downtempo, Electro, Live by bleepwatcher

“Live at Cod Estek is a monthly issued 3 part series of releases that contain the recordings of the very first mini-festival dedicated to Complementary Distribution netlabel that took place at Szovetseg 39 Gallery, in Budapest on the 6th and 7th of October 2006. Our second artist is Cooler, a new electronic artist who becomes more and more well known each and every day in the international scene as well. After his very first live set at Cod Estek, he also had succesful live shows at NEWNEW! Festival 2006 in Brno - Czech Republic, and at the Chi Recprdings organised event called Faculty, A38 Ship in Budapest, Hungary along with Vector Lovers (Soma - UK). This day is the release date of his Puking Sparrow EP at Chi Recordings, and he appears on Bitlab Records’ new EP as well with a remixing his mate called Noise64 whose live set is going to be third and last episode of the series. Cooler’s live set represents what he is into in all his works: that is reaching a shocking but healthy complexity of sounds via maximum usage of technical possibilites. The set starts with powerful melodic downtempo tracks — many of them are still unreleased — and ends up with heavy, dark electro body movers. Enjoy this 59 minutes from October, loop the past, it’s live. See you in the end of January.”

EKL #001 [deer - track delay EP]

Posted in Electro, Field Recording, Techno by bleepwatcher

“Ekwals first release is a collection of 4 tracks by Deer aka Martin Hirsch, featuring a blend of fieldrecordings and experiments in techno and electro. While the first three tracks explore various aspects of the four- on-the-floor paradigm, the last cut, Stationary, features an excerpt from a living room livejam with Source Records founder Move D. The Track Delay EP was mastered by John McCaig at PanicStudios, Seattle. Deer has previously released as “random noise productions” on Neo Ouija and Hippocamp. His website can be found at http://www.regicide.org.”

1bit #020 [frank molder - firefox]

Posted in Ambient, Electro, Experimental by bleepwatcher

“It has been a long time since weve heard from Frank Molder. But he hasn been lazy - not at all: With ‘Firefox’, he presents us five new pieces of spaced-out electronic future music. Like no other artist of 1bit, Frank stands for the combination of two worlds: His sound surely is inspired by the great works of our past while being formed with most up-to-date production methods simultaneously. Lean back and relax with his sapid broken beats and ‘Space Night’ atmospheres…

5x MP3, 256kbps, whole release including cover as ZIP-file: 58 MB.”
