TNG #1028 [leedvd - lenajgiwittuju]
Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007
“Six surreal, obsessive and hypnotic songs. Quirky fables, gloomy and humorous, smashed and squeezed pop, onieric and psychedelic, future songwriting — experimental in the best meaning of the word.
Surprising with the originality of the sound and ideas. Expressive in her introvertiveness. Absolutely astonishing. Unusual. Perfect.”
AMR #017 [weimar - basement rock]
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007
“Weimar is a solo project of Radek Kordasiewicz, a polish musician known for such bands as Ollin, Elvatorium and multimedia group MusicWordArt. Improvised sounds, crossing the borders of genres and musical ethics– these are the aims for Weimar’s existence. The project was born in the summer 2005 (July/August) with a series of improvised, rapid recordings released later as the ‘Calling’ album (strongly limited home made self release).
Weimar was always there, with Radek searching for new ways of expression. From totally horrible noises to ambiences and acoustics. In the meantime, there was a ‘crash’. The greater percent of Radek’s recordings done under the name of Weimar have disappeared from his computer due to some hard drive and system complications (they included a legendary session with female singer, Midia, that took place in late autumn, 2005).
In 2007 the project faced its return, due to the rise of Amduscias Records. His first full album, ‘Basement Rock,’ was released in April, presenting the chosen recordings from Calling, aswell as many new ones. There are a series of ‘Ambiences’ EPs planned (many contributors will appear), also a re-release of Calling should take place with partly recovered 2005’s autumn sessions. More albums, more rapid and strange sounds– lovely and frightening at the same time. That’s Weimar.”
CA #030 [christopher mcfall - grayscale is failing]
Friday, September 28th, 2007
“Grayscale Is Failing was composed from a variety of digital and treated analog field recordings. The resulting compositions were conceived through a variety of computer-based manipulations. For me, this grouping of works has assumed a very visual quality, as the source recordings used to create it were procured in the metropolitan districts of Kansas City, USA during the winter of 2007. I feel that these works tend to portray a digital vision of the subtle aspects of winter in urban America; it’s long nights and short days shadowed by overcast skies, giving way to portraits of dimly lit buildings and city streets that serve as a scaffolding for the continuous advance of technology, while at the same time, allowing for the mass consumption of the remnant.”

“My first attempt. Mostly experimentation with storm and engine sounds with alot of emphasis on concept rather than overall appeal.”

“Feed your neurosis. Have a walk in the dark. Scare the summer-sun away. Rock your subconscious. Your boyfriend will hide under the covers, while you prepare for the somnabulist party in the basement. This is Yoursck on WeirdAndWired! Prepare for some drony action in all colours and shapes noise can have!”
TIBPROD #066 [ophibre - 60 hz]
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007AMR #024 [cronus - intervals]
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007
“This EP is a selection of ideas and techniques I’ve learned in the past year– its a beginning to a record of steady streams of visions, shapes and colors I see in my head interpreted into sound. It deals with experimental sounds and tones made from scratch, and vocal samples destroyed and arranged into organic textures. Drones, soundscapes, thoughtful melodies and glitchy rythyms are the flavor of choice. Each track on this EP was written with a non traditional arrangement in mind for the reason of letting the sounds play their full part for the people who enjoy sound in its full glory.”
AMR #008 [dizzonanz domestic - galaxiat.tak]

“A mix of idiotic political speeches, horribly voiced video game clips, hyperfast synth, and a healthy dose of contempt for pop culture. 23 track 13min and 2sec in total.”
