“Mithra is our first accompanist on our journey to the top of the netaudio-universe ;) and it seems he knows what WaW is all about!
His record is like a nice troll, jumping around you, wanting to make you dance, and sometimes he tries to look evil, pushing you around a bit, until you lay on the floor and can’t help but laugh. Because you know, this troll is good-natured, just having fun with you, so you get up and follow him, leaving the hills of stubborn coolness behind.”
“Kumiko Okamura, a current resident of the megalopolis of Tokyo, but born in the snowy regions of Niigata prefecture, is a self-proclaimed ’broken composer’ and ‘accident life player.’ Her MDDA album, a collection of improvised first-takes recorded onto four-track tape, is full of elegy, poetry and violence — a dream world that does not serve to prevent, but rather to invite, shock.”
“This album is a compilation of ambient tracks off of litmus0001’s first 3 albums– resplendent namesake observed (2001), yakima listening station (2002), and k-basin (2003). This includes tracks previously only heard on somafm.com’s Drone Zone. Nearly 2 hours of icy ambient drones with warm shoegazer harmonic opiate fuzziness.”
“Yes! Once again, we’ve got a present of a gifted artist. This time the music directly comes from Poland’s coast. It must have been rainy days, the days his music evolved. ‘Casually Through The Galaxy’ is Robert’s perspective of everyone’s journey through life. Goals, expectations, hopes and wishes, codes and dishes expressed in emotions captured in the sounds of this EP.“
“Here’s JeRe on Earsheltering, a new release that will create a big change juste before the first round of the French elections. Have a nice audio experience.”
“Choenyi makes his long awaited debut appearance on RaR with 6 fresh new experimental minimal tracks. This release, entitled; ‘Transfer Protocol,’ features heavy layered rolling bass grooves that is catered directly to all you bass junkies, stirred by carefully focused background bleeps, clicks, pops, drops, and touched by pure minimal funk synth repetitve stabs that makes you want to jack all night. This is a bit more experimental than some of the other releases by Choenyi on Yuki Yaki, but still has that warm rhythmic sublime flavor that we are all very familiar with. Unique, creative, moody, funky, groovin’, jackin’; we love it, and we hope you do too. Look for a future release by Choenyi on Italo Business aswell. Enjoy! ;)”
“Vladislav Buben runs a television show dealing with alternative electronic music, ‘Called For The Electricians,’ on Belarus MTV. For 7 years Vlad had operated the radio show, ‘The Lost World’ (the longest running radio show in Belarus dealing with extreme and alternative music).
He is the head coordinator of Radio ‘Mir’ 107.1 FM, ‘Lost World’ e-zine, and record label. Buben organizes various musical groups and projects aswell, including (but not limited to): Buben, Prus, Zeroism, Donald Dark, Ego, Zhraja, Manstappz, Kein, Shamaniac, Over Voltage, Bolshevik, Ex Ambassador21, Perpetual Deathic, Skvarka, Criminal chromosome, I Me Mine, Bachus, Panie Kahanku.”
“Our tenth release is a short self titled EP from Track53 that boasts a simple yet elegant sound. Frank Dambra creates and transforms the somber waves that run through the veins of each song, but ironically leaves you warm and comfortable in an empty gap between conscious and unconscious thought.”
“This awaited, unusual release from Five Step Path comes with a story engraved. Heavy beats, haunting melodies, and creepy sound effects can best describe this unusual release. Industrial sounds and Experimental qualities make it unique. A fine collection of pieces from Tom.”
