“mOOdSpLAteau released Valkoinen Yliäänitaikuri of our finnish musician Raztaman - pure Raztaman sound. What means Valkoinen Yliäänitaikuri? Translated in English it means ‘white overtone magician’ and our Raztaman is according that to mayan horoscopes. It comes from the exact date you’re born.
Valkoinen Yliäänitaikuri was recorded as live performances by Timo ‘Raztaman’ Laulajainen made with Roland MC303 groovebox, Quasimidi’s MC309, Novation Nova and Greg Bennett acoustic Guitar. Most speeches by Lorenzo (www.matrixmasters.com) were added later.”

“Toshimaru Nakamura, eRikm, dieb13 and Billy Roisz performed as AVVA and LÄUSE
projects at Stimul Festival in Prague on October 6th, 2006. This release is an audio documentation of their performance.
Two sets, more than 60 minutes of brilliant, precise and in a way delicately structured music, are waiting to be listened or downloaded for free.”

“Live at Cod Estek is a monthly issued 3 part series of releases that contain the recordings of the very first mini-festival dedicated to Complementary Distribution netlabel that took place at Szovetseg 39 Gallery, in Budapest on the 6th and 7th of October 2006. Our second artist is Cooler, a new electronic artist who becomes more and more well known each and every day in the international scene as well. After his very first live set at Cod Estek, he also had succesful live shows at NEWNEW! Festival 2006 in Brno - Czech Republic, and at the Chi Recprdings organised event called Faculty, A38 Ship in Budapest, Hungary along with Vector Lovers (Soma - UK). This day is the release date of his Puking Sparrow EP at Chi Recordings, and he appears on Bitlab Records’ new EP as well with a remixing his mate called Noise64 whose live set is going to be third and last episode of the series. Cooler’s live set represents what he is into in all his works: that is reaching a shocking but healthy complexity of sounds via maximum usage of technical possibilites. The set starts with powerful melodic downtempo tracks — many of them are still unreleased — and ends up with heavy, dark electro body movers. Enjoy this 59 minutes from October, loop the past, it’s live. See you in the end of January.”

Our first artist is Ferenc Vaspoeri, the young and talented Hungarian minimal techno producer who is a newcommer at Complementary Distribution (his debut release was Esplanade which featured remixes by other talents, like Cooler, Bitlab, Chi Recordings, U-Cover, it’s still fresh! grab it!) — but definitely not in other highly reputable netlabels such as Standard Klik Musik or ChiWare. His live set contains brand new and upcoming tracks, even representing sometimes the serious and more dark side of Mr. Vaspoeri’s sounds. While, his pieces of tracks are modest body movers as well. Enjoy these 55 minutes from October, loop the past, it’s live. See you in the end of December.”

“Mathias Delplanque slowly develops a sidereal language, defines an acoustic space, near or lost in the distance, confronting concrete and synthetic sources, to finally give birth to a delicate interior landscape.”

“What better then when the leaves fall and the autumn blues kick in, then to listen to this beautiful ep by Kikapu owner Brad Mitchell, aka Pocka, who seldom releases but when he does, offers exquisite and powerfull pieces of ambient / field recordings (check his pleasedosomething and nishi releases). A heartsick lovesong is just as the title implies ; carefully drawned pieces of sorrowfull and epic moments that either show the darker ravines of consciousness or the warmer, soothing side of introspection and soul searching. A definite netlabel masterpiece, Brad not only shows us his great technique (this is a live recording) but also his vulnerability to all things that touch us, which makes this album subtle and filled with humility, yet, also heroic. Cover by Adnan-Alin Vasile & Felix Petrescu.”

“Kahvi is honoured to welcome none other than Planet Boelex to the Kahvi shores. After hearing numerous great releases from other netlabels, Planet Boelex came over to London to perform a live set at the Netaudio Festival in Islington. All the usual qualities are there, epic sounds and textures with the that much polished vibe that we get to hear in Esems works. A fantastic, 53 minute audio journey into Boelexs works and back.”

“The debut release from The Strait Of Anain is a four-track EP of amazing depth and beauty; it utilizes full live instrumentation, spoken word, and vocals to perfection. Similar to some of our past releases by Matt Borghi and adcBicycle, this is another shining moment for Kikapu.”
