RB #005 [adrián juárez - caleta dos]
Sunday, September 9th, 2007RB #004 [adrián juárez - caleta uno]
Sunday, September 9th, 2007
“Adrián Juárez was born in La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
He studied piano for seven years and then he got close to other musical instruments in an intuitive way. Besides his role as an artist he’s in charge of Frígida Records netlabel where he edits music by artists from all over the world.
In his large output he comes near a long genre list, but on the two ‘Caleta’-Volumes he celebrates 4 calm, tranquil ambient tunes. Slightly vibrating soundscapes and soft drones guide the listener through over 90 minutes of deeply emotional music.
So close your eyes and put your headphones on.”

RB #003 [braille - sustain]
Sunday, September 2nd, 2007
“Sustain Braille presents 4 tracks which take you to different settings. With every listening you explore more layers, more sounds and you hear something new and surprising. Environmental sounds, field recordings, abstract soundscapes, all is put together to an organic and intimate symbiosis that embraces you and takes you to places you’d never expect.”
AMR #024 [cronus - intervals]
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007
“This EP is a selection of ideas and techniques I’ve learned in the past year– its a beginning to a record of steady streams of visions, shapes and colors I see in my head interpreted into sound. It deals with experimental sounds and tones made from scratch, and vocal samples destroyed and arranged into organic textures. Drones, soundscapes, thoughtful melodies and glitchy rythyms are the flavor of choice. Each track on this EP was written with a non traditional arrangement in mind for the reason of letting the sounds play their full part for the people who enjoy sound in its full glory.”
CA #019 [psikotronika - relationship with a new hairdryer in a multicolour sexy-shop]
Sunday, April 8th, 2007
“Relationship with a new hairdryer in a multicolour sexy-shop arises from the necessity of being moulded in loud fabrics of the little emotional fractures with the surrounding environment, the title of cd and some tracks although they can appear paradoxical and grotesque always come from traumatic and not actually happen situations. The title of cd and some tracks, although they can appear paradoxical and grotesque, always come from traumatic and not actually happen situations.
One tries to melt the ‘aseptic’ noise produced by dental studies and domestic recordings prevalently made in the late afternoon together with the abounding in images and dreamy matter of audio-reminders through continuos cuts and sudden overturnings discordances. It is however a grotesque sad work for certain directions really for his take form from innumerable personal experiences which in some way have marked, only hope that this side of his cannot weigh subject to neuroleptic material engagement during the listening.”
