For this reason we publish a double-EP, i.e. 2 x 4 tracks.

Ambitronic, the Idealtechnoist with the most output, fabricated Blaues Dreieck as his closure of the series of forms already last autumn. Minimal Moments emerged as the bosses favorite project. So none of the surrounding producers wanted to fall short and one track after the other was shuffled on the desk of the labels chief.

Among the most forward was Johnny Peinlich– mutual friend of Idealtechno and a fixture of the dancefloor at ElektroBeton. With meinsdeinsihrs and Quadratur the feast-proven Berlin producer sends even two true dancefloor-smashers into the race. A completely different side is brought out by Dr. Nojoke showing his diversity. Walhall served as the legendary seat of gods, kings and warriors. Dr.Nojoke raises his personal monument by this track. For long have we waited: VAI comes smashing from behind, competent as usual he drives down the boulevard of happiness.

Salvatore De Rosa is new blood producer from Geta (Italy) making his debut on Idealtechno wih 3VOLUTIOn. Back from the ego-trip of his own EP our neo-minimalist Docma did not conceive of anything better than howling with the wolves to the moon. Audien, youngest member of the idealtechno family, eagerly went to work together with Docma to create FrequenzStreifen.”

Some claim he is responsible for all non-basic functions of man; perhaps the enjoyment of music, or perhaps its creation.

Tiny Creatures return less tiny this time around. They’ve beefed up their sound and lost the tendency to scatter. Still, they won’t have a moment’s rest. From beatbox layers recorded live into a delay pedal to stinging guitars to a harmonium competing with crappy, lo-fi keyboards and vocals that conjure images of the Red Army choir, Homunculus rides the fine line between eclectic and cohesive and falls square in the middle.”

Deeply influenced by german krautrock, Somewhere The Music Had Been Played puts you in a warm blanket and let you float in time and space. This deep harmonic athmosphere guides you through the complete release.

From the first track soft bubbling synth-patterns and soundscapes take you by the hand and let you forget time and space around you. And leave you after 35 minutes in a calm and peaceful condition.

By the way: The whole EP was recorded during a live improvisation on soviet-era analog synth and desktop FX. An exciting example of creating music together spontaniously.”

Improvised sounds, crossing the borders of genres and musical ethics– these are the aims for Weimar’s existence. The project was born in the summer 2005 (July/August) with a series of improvised, rapid recordings released later as the ‘Calling’ album (strongly limited home made self release).

Weimar was always there, with Radek searching for new ways of expression. From totally horrible noises to ambiences and acoustics. In the meantime, there was a ‘crash’. The greater percent of Radek’s recordings done under the name of Weimar have disappeared from his computer due to some hard drive and system complications (they included a legendary session with female singer, Midia, that took place in late autumn, 2005).

In 2007 the project faced its return, due to the rise of Amduscias Records. His first full album, ‘Basement Rock,’ was released in April, presenting the chosen recordings from Calling, aswell as many new ones. There are a series of ‘Ambiences’ EPs planned (many contributors will appear), also a re-release of Calling should take place with partly recovered 2005’s autumn sessions. More albums, more rapid and strange sounds– lovely and frightening at the same time. That’s Weimar.”
